Funny River Community Association Bylaws.
In 2017 the Funny River Community Association and the Funny River Chamber of Commerce split into two distinct and separate Organizations. Each has their own bylaws and they are not the same entity. Some confusion exists because the Association and Chamber were combined as one organization for almost 4 decades. They split when it was discovered that grants and funding available for the Association was not available if they were combined. To ensure the Association would be eligible for State and Borough funding opportunities, they separated. A lawyer specializing in nonprofits was hired to insure the new bylaws complied with State and Federal Laws.
